These Community Guidelines help keep The World Decides a place for open, fair, and constructive debate. By using the service, you agree to follow them along with our Terms of Service.
The spirit of the community
People come here to compare ideas, cast votes, and discuss opinions. Disagreement is expected. Personal attacks, harassment, and bad-faith disruption are not.
Please do
- Treat others with respect, even when you strongly disagree.
- Argue ideas, not people. Strong disagreement is welcome when it stays civil.
- Share context or sources when making factual claims, and be open to correction.
- Report content that breaks these rules so we can review it.
- Take responsibility for what you post. Do not share content you do not have the right to publish.
Please don’t
- Do not harass, bully, threaten, or target people.
- Do not post hate speech or content that attacks people based on protected characteristics.
- Do not post illegal content, or content that promotes violence or serious harm.
- Do not spam, flood, or post repetitive promotional content.
- Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity in a deceptive way.
- Do not manipulate votes, create fake engagement, or use bots or scripts to abuse the platform.
- Do not share private personal information about others without consent (doxxing).
- Do not post sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
Debates and voting
Create clear, good-faith debate topics. Options should be understandable and not designed to deceive. Vote honestly. Comments should add to the discussion rather than derail it with insults or spam.
Enforcement
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines or our Terms. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent removal. Enforcement decisions aim to protect users and the integrity of the platform.
Reporting problems
Use in-product report tools when available, or contact us through the Contact Us page. False or abusive reporting can itself be a violation.
Updates to these guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines as the platform grows. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do.
